Job Summary

High School Diploma teacher needed in the Adult Education program for a morning class, Monday through Thursday 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Start immediately or in the Fall of 2024. The Adult Education High School Diploma Teacher assigns students' work in the subjects of reading; language arts; writing; math; social science including economics, American government, world history, United States history; and elective subjects through individualized or group instruction. May assist in the Computer Lab. This is a part time, hourly position. One-on-one student support time is embedded in the class time. Class and paid prep time average 16 hours per week.

Current California Teaching Credential Official (sealed or direct email from educational institution) transcripts showing evidence that a Bachelors Degree or higher was awarded. Current Resume Three current letters of reference During onboarding process, provide current T.B. test results dated within the last year and your Covid Vaccine Card. Please Note: All applicants MUST have fingerprint clearance through our district (WCCUSD) prior to being hired. Must hold a valid Single Subject or Multiple Subject teaching credential, or valid clear or preliminary Adult Education Teaching Credential.
