HTH has evolved into an integrated network of 16 charter schools serving approximately 6,500 students in grades K-12 across four campuses. Job Summary
HTH School Director Job Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Chief Executive Officer, the School Director sets the strategy and direction for the school in conjunction with overall institutional goals. The School Director ensures high-quality instruction and an equitable and positive educational experience for students, families, and staff, by working with staff members to design, evaluate and improve student-centered instruction. HTH School Directors must cultivate positive relationships with students, teachers, families, colleagues, and the community at large.

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Masters’ degree preferred
- At least three (3) years K-12 teaching experience is strongly preferred
- Three plus years of experience in a school setting required

Lifting items weighing up to 30 pounds and other physical activities may be required infrequently.
Vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels. Visual acuity is required for preparing and analyzing written or computer data, determining the accuracy and thoroughness of work, and observing general surroundings and activities. Hours may be long when specific needs arise, thus some extended work schedules will be necessary.
