Capital College & Career Academy (CCCA) is a brand new, innovative charter high school. CCCA is seeking motivated and collaborative teachers who will shape the culture and community of our new school for years to come. This is an opportunity to reimagine education while serving those students most in need. If you are looking for a job where you have the ability to make both a tangible impact for both the young people you teach and the community where you work then CCCA is for you. Under direction of the school site leader, the CCCA teacher will make real-world experiences central to classroom design to ensure learning is relevant and engaging for all students. In year one, the high school Mandarin teacher will teach both a Mandarin 1 and Mandarin 2 class. Focused on multiple modalities of communication the role of the world language instructor is to also build connection across content areas to make learning relevant and engaging to all students. Located in one of the most under invested parts of Sacramento our founding team is seeking motivated and dynamic educators who are looking to make a transformative impact on our community. CCCA is an innovative high school with three core elements: hands-on learning in every subject, dual enrollment and work based learning for all students at every grade. CCCA uses the thread of the construction industry as a way to organize its curricular focus. CCCA is fortunate to have the support of the building trades community. That support will be a feature in our school and a pillar for our students. CCCA also sees its ability to participate in the local community as another vital part of its program. We look forward to teachers and students partnering with the local community to make the learning all the more engaging and relevant. Mission Statement: All students will be enrolled in a post-secondary institution or employed within six months of graduation Vision Statement: Our vision is to create an educational environment where students are college accelerated and job prepared. Students will transition into adulthood with the skills and experience required to make a living wage. The curriculum at CCCA will provide a life-changing opportunity for students who, upon graduation will have the real-world experience and the tangible skills that will allow them to succeed not just today but for years down the road.
