Requirements / Qualifications
SCOE Classified Application ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS: The following documents are not required at the time of application but will be required of the selected applicant prior to employment: Department of Justice Fingerprint clearance, Tuberculosis Skin Test clearance & Pre-Employment Physical/Drug Screen clearance will be required prior to employment. Must be at least 18 years of age.
THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH YOUR APPLICATION: (ALL Applicants, both Internal & External MUST submit these documents with their application) - Valid Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA) approved CPR and First Aid Certification covering adult, child, and infant (pediatric) using any of the following curricula: - American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI), or - American Heart Association (AHA), or - American Red Cross (ARC), or - Pediatric CPR and First Aid offered at accredited colleges and universities. Front & back of the card with expiration date.

BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of a program administrator, perform the necessary, non-clinical tasks to implement health policies and procedures while ensuring health compliance with Head Start Program Performance Standards; and, provide health education information to teachers, parents, and children.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and two years of experience in health services, Head Start, State Preschool, or a related environment such as medical office or school nurse office.

If the application does not provide enough space for your work history, you may include an attachment with additional work history information.
