Under the supervision of Valley ROP and High School administration, instruct high school students enrolled in the Valley ROP Health Science program in a classroom setting, which prepares students be part of the Patient Care Pathway. Instruct students in Health Careers classes through Valley ROP.
Requirements / Qualifications
Experience/Training/Education: 1. Associate Degree in Arts/Science or a Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required. 2. The Employment Contract for the successful candidate without an AA or Bachelor’s Degree will receive a Contingent Employment Contract indicating “An AA or Bachelor’s Degree must be obtained within 36 months of the Date of Hire. 3. Possession of, or be eligible for, a valid California Single Subject Teaching Credential OR 4 Qualify for a California Designated Subjects Career Technical Education Credential authorizing service in the appropriate subject. More Information about the Designated Subjects Credential can be found at http://www.ctc.ca.gov/credentials/leaflets/cl880.pdf. o A minimum of three years total industry experience in the field is required. o An Associate Degree or higher preferred. 5. Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance. 6. Must have physician’s clearance to perform physical duties/responsibilities.
