Requirements / Qualifications
BASIC FUNCTION: Under direction, perform a variety of routine nutrition services activities related to the setting up of serving areas and the serving of food to students and staff; maintain cleanliness of nutrition services facilities. WORKING HOURS: Substitute Nutrition Services Workers work on call, as needed, generally with short notice, at any of the schools in Colton, Bloomington, and Grand Terrace, and the Southridge area of Fontana, which is included in the Colton Joint Unified School District. There are no guaranteed number of hours, no guarantee of a permanent position and no benefits available for hourly employees. In addition, hourly employees are not considered regular or permanent employees of CJUSD.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Education: High school graduate or the equivalent. Proof must be submitted at time of employment. Experience: Sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed in job duties. Other: Valid Food Handler's Card. Proof must be submitted within 14 days of employment.
