Position Description: Mission College Prep seeks to hire for part-time employment a multi-talented, multi-tasking, and service-oriented individual to maintain the campus facilities at a high standard. Hours/Location: Monday-Friday Night shift; On-Site in San Luis Obispo, CA Duties: • Keeps building and property in clean and orderly condition; • Performs routine maintenance activities and heavy cleaning duties; • Sweeps, mops, scrubs, or vacuums floors and restroom facilities; • Cleans windows, mirrors, and partitions; • Gathers and empties trash; • Dusts furniture, walls, and equipment; • Mixes cleaning solutions in designated containers for cleaning, following instructions; • Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power machinery; • Cleans and polishes fixtures and furniture; • Manages inventory of cleaning supplies; • Performs security sweep and lock up as needed at end of shift; • Notifies managers for need repairs or additions to building operating systems; and, • Preforms other tasks upon request. Competencies: • Works within prescribed quality and quantity standards; • Properly uses custodial equipment and chemicals; • Understands general custodial techniques and procedures; • Desires to expand and develop skills; • Can lift up to 50
