Job Summary
The purpose of the CTE Instructor is to supervise and instruct students in assigned area of Career Technical Education and career development; provide an educational program for students in the specifically assigned career area; conducts themselves as a professional person; exhibiting the qualities of ability, personality and integrity that will make him/her respected by all those with who they associate. The CTE Virtual Academy Teacher will be responsible for teaching 3 live classes and host in-person opportunities twice per learning period in their assigned content area. Live classes will consist of one-hour live, virtual sessions twice per week. The in-person opportunities will be available to students throughout the counties we serve. The CTE Virtual Teacher will also hold scheduled virtual office hours twice per week, monitor student progress, assign grades, and be available for individual student appointments as needed.
