Responsibilities: * Plan thoughtfully constructed lessons using classical Christian curriculum * Deliver lessons in a manner that inspires student engagement and learning * Maintain a warm and organized classroom that promotes learning and fosters a respectful classroom environment * Communicate regularly and clearly (in-person and on school app) with parents regarding class events, and student progress and needs * Uphold rigorous academic and behavioral standards * Attend staff meetings and trainings * Submit lesson plans by due dates * Reports directly to the school director. Qualifications * Committed to the Christian faith and is an active member of their church * Support and uphold the mission, vision, and values of DongShin Christian Academy * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Flexible, accountable, hard-working * A four-year Bachelor’s degree, Master's Degree or credential (preferred) Schedule * Full-time: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., five days a week starting in August 2024 to June 2025. This includes a health screening, live scan screening and staying current with all required immunizations. * Educational requirements as mandated by California State licensing * Must meet state specific guidelines for the role * Must possess active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet CA candidacy requirements (see https://www.preschoolteacher.org/california/) * Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred) * 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred) * CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain Resume * 2 References * Letter of introduction * Credential copy
