Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Superintendent and as a member of the District Management Team, the Chief Business Official (CBO) manages and supervises all fiscal operations; including organization and administration of the fiscal programs and activities of the District.
Requirements / Qualifications
-Bachelor’s Degree and at least two (2) years of proven successful experience in an increasingly responsible management position directly related to public school finance and/or business or College Degree. OR -Successful completion of a California Association of School Business Officials (CASBO), Fiscal Crisis & Management Assistance Team (FCMAT), or School Services of California (SSC) CBO certification program which included coursework in public school finance, school law, school business administration, school personnel, school operations and at least two years of proven successful experience in an increasingly responsible management position directly related to public school finance and/or business.
