Job Summary
The Mariners Christian School Campus Pastor plays a pivotal role in fostering spiritual growth, providing pastoral care, and supporting spiritual formation. This position encompasses responsibilities ranging from leading chapel services to integrating faith-based principles into the curriculum and coordinating service outreach initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, a passion for nurturing young minds in the Christian faith, and a commitment to fostering a spiritual community.
Requirements / Qualifications
• A bachelor's degree in theology, ministry, education, or a related field. • Ordination or licensure as a Christian minister, pastor, or equivalent credentialing preferred (denominational affiliation may vary). • Minimum 3 years’ experience in pastoral ministry, preferably with youth and in a Christian school or church setting. • Experience providing pastoral care to children and adults. • Strong understanding of Christian theology, scripture, and principles, with the ability to communicate them effectively to children. • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students, parents, staff, and community members from diverse backgrounds. • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the capacity to inspire, mentor, and empower others in their spiritual journey. • Commitment to upholding the values, mission, and ethos of the school, including the statement of faith and educational philosophy. • Strong initiative, work ethic, and vision to build new and strengthen existing programs.
