Job Summary
Job Summary
The School Psychologist at Aspen Public Schools, led by the Chief Student Services Officer and in coordination with the Lead School Psychologist, collaborates with educators and families to support exceptional students by addressing learning, behavioral, developmental, and emotional challenges. They promote safe and supportive learning environments through consultation and program development while also educating others on child development and behavior management. Responsibilities include evaluation, consultation, program development, and professional practice related to student development, behavior, and academics.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Valid California Pupil Personnel Services Credential with School Psychology Authorization required; - Knowledge of federal and state special education law and best practices for special education; - Excellent organizational, planning, and implementation skills; - Ability to communicate and interact effectively -Letter of Introduction -Three Letter(s) of Recommendation -Resume -Copy of Credential -Sample Psychological Educational Evaluation Report
- Background check - Current and or recent TB test
