Lake Elementary School District is a small, K-8, single school district serving approximately 195 students, situated on 5.6 acres in the Sacramento Valley 100 miles North of Sacramento and approximately 3 miles north of Orland, California in Glenn County. Lake School District was named for Daniel Jefferson Lake who settled in the district in 1872, the school opened that same year. The primary industry is agriculture.
