Completed Classified Edjoin application - Resume - Typing Certificate minimum net 40 words per minute 5 minute duration (on-line certificates are not accepted) issued within the last two years must be attached to this application. - At least three signed Letters of Reference less than one year old and one must be from immediate supervisor. (Electronic signatures are not accepted) Must pass Secretarial/Clerical examination: Exam will be administered Friday, March 15, 2024 at 9 am. 1717 W. Merced Ave. West Covina 91790. This is the final notice of the exam. Hours: 8 am - 4:30 pm EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: Under the direction of the assigned supervisor, provide library services relating to the use of automated systems (public access catalogues, cataloging, circulation, database search techniques, and the internet/web), acquisition, circulation, distribution, and recovery of library and reference books, audio-visual materials, and equipment
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination equivalent to two years of college course work in library science or three years increasingly responsible experience in a library or media center, including work in acquisition, circulation, cataloging, software-based research, internet/web research, reference and compilation of bibliographies. • A Mantoux Tuberculin Test within 60 days of hire date
• Drug Screening by District approved facility
• Fingerprint Clearance

- Cybersecurity Overview
