Requirements / Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: Minimum Associate's degree (A. A.) with 2 years payroll tax and HR experience; or 4 years payroll tax and HR experience. Accounting background highly desired.

Competency test will be administered to all qualified applicants. Upload attachments named exactly as stated (i.e., Letter of Recommendation) in order to be considered for this position.

The Payroll Tax Specialist will be the organization's "expert" in all payroll and employment matter's associated with in employees for the organization who reside in states other than California. The ideal candidate will: research out-of-state payroll and human resource items keeping up to date with changes to all applicable HR form; document and provide input on payroll and HR processes and procedures; data entry and maintenance of HRIS programs/databases. This position will essentially serve as the liaison between Payroll & HR for all out-of-state issues. For a complete list of duties and responsibilities please see job description.
