Assistant Superintendent, Educational Services at Covina-Valley Unified School District
Requirements / Qualifications
The Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services provides innovative and results-oriented instructional leadership aligned with the District’s vision and mission. Responsible for the development and implementation of the educational services strategic plan. Accountable for curriculum and instruction, programs, policies, and initiatives for preschool through adult education students. Plans, directs, manages, and oversees all aspects of educational services including professional development, Student Services, Special Education, English Learners, GATE, technology, CTE, state and federal programs, budgets, mental health services, operations, and initiatives. Develops and maintains strong relationships and partnerships with students, families, outside agencies, businesses, and community partners. Must possess a Master's Degree, three years of experience in school administration, and any credential(s) authorizing services as assistant superintendent for educational services in a unified school district.
