Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent or designee, the Director of Technology Operations provides dynamic, responsive, collaborative and forward-thinking vision, leadership and management of technology systems and information services to support the mission and goals of the District. This includes the planning, development, implementation, management and maintenance of all applications, infrastructure, security, networks, technology training and communications.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Any combination of experience and training that would provide the required knowledge and skills is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and skills would be:
Experience:
Two years of experience working in the repair and maintenance of computers and telecommunication systems or closely related service areas. Preference for experience in a supervisory or management capacity. Demonstrated record of strategic planning, budget management, and web design.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in computer related field or 5 years industry experience.
LICENSE REQUIREMENT:
Possession of a valid Class C California Driver’s License
Position qualifies for CalPERS, medical, dental, vision, income protection and life insurance.
