Under the supervision of the Director of Workforce Solutions, the Program Coordinator will be responsible for the “Success of Career Technical Education (CTE) Program” development, implementation, effectiveness, sustainability and growth of Highlands Community Charter and Technical School (HCCTS) programs. This includes assisting the Director of Workforce Solutions, Principal, student services personnel, and teachers in program success. The HCCTS Program Coordinator is also to facilitate the linkage with partner postsecondary schools, business/industry, and community organizations to support student success taking them from survivability to sustainability.
Requirements / Qualifications
Any combination of education and/or experience equivalent to 3 years. • Working in project management • College graduate is preferred • Previous industry experience in recruitment, job placement, or human resources is desirable Experience/Minimum Qualifications: • Ability to plan, organize, monitor, implement, and support the district’s career services, work experience, and supplementary job readiness instruction programs • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing • Interpret, apply and explain rules, regulations, policies and procedures • Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships • Analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action • Meet schedules and timelines - work independently with little direction • Prepare comprehensive narrative and statistical reports • Direct the maintenance of a variety of reports and files related to assigned activities • The ability to communicate with a diverse group of people on a daily basis • Possession of a valid California driver's license
The position requires the following items: 1. Resume 2. Letter of Reference 3. Proof of completion of a high school diploma or GED
