Job Summary

Job Summary

CORE is a Personalized Learning School. An individual learning plan is developed by the teacher for each student. Students attend classes two - four days per week with parents providing instructional support on the days that the student is not in classes. The Personalized Learning Teacher monitors progress, assesses for understanding, and guides learning along with the parent. Optional learning environments may include independent study, supplemental classroom instruction, and/or classes in the community. This position will maintain a roster of 24 students in grades 9-12 and will also teach approximately 4 hours per week of high school English classes. Candidates with a Master's degree are preferred, as there are opportunities for additional stipends to teach college level dual enrolled classes. This is a CalSTRS covered position and will include a contribution toward medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits. Please see the attached job description for further details.
