Requirements / Qualifications

Personal Qualifications: • Personal conduct emphasizes qualities of loyalty, honesty, ethics, integrity and sportsmanship • Demonstrates a positive role model for staff and students. Conducts self at all times in an exemplary manner, choosing carefully appropriate language during practice and games • Demonstrate dedication and commitment to a successful pep squad program • Demonstrate ability to work cooperatively with parents, teachers, students and school administrators • Places high emphasis on student academic development in addition to physical development • Show self-discipline, respect and restraint in stressful situations involving officials, players, coaches, parents and spectators. Coaching Requirements • CPR/First Aid certification upon hire • Experience with cheer/song, or, related activities (e.g. dance, gymnastics) • Experience working with teenagers
