The Monday through Thursday work week and 148-day contract provide for a work-life balance difficult to match. This regular, full-time teaching position for our 2025-2026 school year is at Kingman Unified School District's Kingman High School in Kingman, AZ. To Qualify: Bachelor's or more advanced degree from an accredited institution An Identity Verified Print (IVP) fingerprint clearance card through Arizona Department of Public Safety, or ability to obtain prior to start date Teaching certification through Arizona Department of Education: One of the following: • Mild/Moderate Disabilities • Cross-Categorical Special Education • Special Education ID • Special Education LD • Special Education ED • Standard Professional teaching certificate with a Provisional or Full Mild/Moderate Disabilities, PreK-12 endorsement SEI, ESL or Bilingual Endorsement issued by Arizona Department of Education, within one year of hire Arizona offers an alternative path to certification for those with a Bachelor's or more advanced degree who would like to pursue a career in teaching. Individuals pursuing a teaching career through this alternative pathway must enroll in a teacher preparation program approved by the Arizona Department of Education and obtain an Alternative Teaching Certificate to be eligible for hire.

An initial placement salary between $37,075-$48,975 (range under review for 2024-25 school year) plus $7,000-$10,000 in 301 money. A one-time $5,000 critical needs stipend (pending appropriate teaching certification) and an annual case management stipend of up to $4,000.
Employee health insurance options with premiums paid at 100% by the District.
A retirement pension through Arizona State Retirement System where 100% of your contributions are matched by the District.
