Job Summary

The Enrollment Center is the first place of contact for all families. By welcoming our families and making the enrollment process as simple and easy as possible, the Enrollment Center ensures our families enter SJUSD with a positive experience. After families enroll, they often return to the Enrollment Center to update records, request transfers, or obtain information. The Enrollment Center works closely with other departments, school sites, and outside agencies to ensure students are enrolled efficiently and appropriately. The Manager of the Enrollment Center supports the planning, development, and implementation of ongoing initiatives that align with the district mission and vision of creating a unified community that elevates opportunities for all. They work collaboratively with their staff to create a welcoming atmosphere and enrollment processes that are easy for our families to access and support our school sites. The Manager of the Enrollment Center works closely with our Student Information System to improve processes, improve the experience for families, and increase staff productivity. They proactively identify and solve problems for families and staff. The Manager of the Enrollment Center is responsible for the successful supervision and training of employees, plans the work of others, prioritizes work, and collaborates with educational partners in a clear, concise, friendly, and professional manner.

You have outstanding analytical skills and are a problem-solver who implements effective solutions with sound judgment. You can effectively motivate, coach, and lead diverse teams. You have a history of process design and improvement. You are a strong communicator with a customer-service focus, strong organizational skills, and a desire to continuously improve. Spanish speaker is strongly preferred.
