Position: La Salle College Preparatory Head Football Coach Date Posted: February 19,2024 Job Summary La Salle High School of Pasadena seeks an experienced and dynamic individual to fill the position of Head football coach with teaching and/or other campus responsibilities. The successful candidate will have a proven track record as an experienced Head Coach and/or coordinator, a clear vision of building a program, provides strong leadership, attracts quality student athletes, displays exemplary organizational skills, creative football tactics, sound judgment, and has strong connections in the realm of high school football. Founded by the Brothers of the Christian Schools in 1956, La Salle High School of Pasadena is the only Catholic, co-educational high school in the northern San Gabriel Valley. The School takes great pride in the breadth of its competitive sports offerings (22 teams) and is looking for the next Head football coach to proactively take over the program and create genuine interest/respect due to the consistent comprehensive success of the program. The Lancers will compete in the Del Rey League in 2024 and the CIF Southern Section. A talented and highly energetic leader with vision will find strong administrative and community support. The High School Head Football Coach at La Salle College Preparatory, a Catholic institution, plays a critical role in shaping the athletic experience for student-athletes while upholding the values and principles of the La Sallian tradition and Catholic faith. Bachelor’s Degree required. Masters preferred. Five (5) years of relevant coaching experience / Minimum of 2 years as head coach. Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills. Team-oriented individual with the ability to become part of the fabric of the institution. Understanding and supportive of the values and ideals of the Catholic and Lasallian tradition. Timeline Monday, February 26, 2023: DUE DATE for all application materials. Week of February 26 to February 29, 2024: Paper screening and interviews. Week of March 4 to March 8, 2024: Finalist interviews and selection of candidates. Start date is negotiable but will ideally fall during the week of March 11 to March 15, 2024 or March 18 to March 22, 2024.

We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
