Hello teachers, educators, slime makers & DIYers. Destination Science Summer Camp is hiring for this summer. Spend your summer having fun with kids building rockets, rovers, roller coasters and playing silly camp games. Help kids discover Aha! moments while gaining valuable STEM experience with other teachers who also want to have fun. Work alongside other educators to engage kids in science fun this summer. Paid training in early June and work 3-8 weeks this summer. LOCATIONS: Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Los Altos, San Jose, Fremont and Milpitas.
Job Description / Essential Elements:

- Destination Science follows the traditional day camp schedule from 9am-3pm Monday-Friday.
- Staff hours - M-F 8am-330pm - Teachers will conduct 3 science stations per day to a group of 14 children. PT-FT positions (mostly full time)
- We also play camp games, sing silly songs and show a lot of camp spirit during daily rally.
- Prep the lessons, teach the lessons, play and engage curious minds while learning some cool elementary STEM science and projects.
- All curriculum and science supplies provided.
- Training is important, mandatory and alot of fun.
- Locations - No. CA - Santa Clara & San Mateo Counties - San Bruno, Belmont, Foster City, Los Altos, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, Fremont, Milpitas, San Jose
- Locations - So. CA - Orange Co - Fullerton, Tustin, Irinve, RSM, LA County - Pasadena, La Canada, Studio City, Encino, W. Hills plus Thousand Oaks
- Locations - DFW and WA - King County; NY Long Island & Westchester Bronxville
Requirements / Qualifications
- A love for kids;
- Experience with prepping and preparing lesson plans;
- Experience with teaching and managing a group of 10-14 children.
Not a lot of experience but like to play with kids? Be an Assistant - provide support to teachers and children; supervise and play games with campers.
Credential Requirements:
- Not required, however most of our teachers are credentialed or have experience with kids through enrichment programs.
