Job Summary

Job Summary

Serving under the Highlands Community Charter and Technical Schools, the Academic Programs Coordinator will organize, coordinate, and administer assigned programs and activities related to attendance, instruction, and staff development of multiple assigned school sites. This position shall assist leadership staff with administrative duties involving curriculum development, oversight, and site operations as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications

This position requires the following: • Bachelor’s degree or higher is required. Advanced degree from an accredited college or university preferred. • Clear Multiple/Single Subjects Credentials/Designated Subject: Adult Education credential or credentials of equivalent authorization issued by the CTC are required. • Minimum of five years of experience as a classroom teacher preferred; and three years of training and experience as a site lead or comparable leadership position at a school site and/or district office. • A strong background in effective implementation of curriculum and professional development, data and assessment, and instructional coaching and training is preferred.
