Maintains open, helping relationships with students. Provides a positive environment in which students are encouraged to be actively engaged in the learning process. ? Works with and teaches the established and approved curriculum in English and contributes to its development. ? Effectively manages instructional time and student behavior. ? Ensures that student growth and achievement are continuous and appropriate for age group and subject area. ? Assumes responsibility for meeting his/her course goals and expected school-wide learning results. ? Attends and participates in department meetings, professional development programs, as well as actively and continually participates in the co-curricular life of the school. ? Works collaboratively and cooperatively with faculty, staff, administration, and parents. ?
