BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of an assigned manager, perform various duties and support activities for staff within the County Office departments and in the districts, provide Help Desk technical and technology user support, and perform various technical and resource services in the installation, operation, repair, maintenance, and diagnosis of technology, within County Office departments and in school districts.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: EdJoin Application SCOE Help Desk Operator Certificate Valid California Driver License. ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS: The following documents are not required at the time of application but will be required of the selected applicant prior to employment: Department of Justice Fingerprint clearance, Tuberculosis Skin Test clearance & Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Lift Test clearance. Must be at least 18 years of age.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: an Associate of Arts degree in computer-related field or two years of experience providing technical assistance in computer systems. A+ certification or evidence of equivalent skill level is desired.
Pass the Stanislaus County Office of Education written examination for Help Desk Operator.
BENEFITS: A Benefit Entitlement for health, dental and vision coverage is available for positions that are at least 4 hours per day. The amount of the entitlement is based on the number of hours worked per day.
