BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION The Director of Advancement provides strategic leadership for Notre Dame High School advancement initiatives. The Director of Advancement is responsible for creating the vision, design, and direction of the school's giving programs. The vision of the Advancement program will foster a robust culture of engagement and philanthropy across the school and community. The aim of the program is to garner maximum support for Educating the Hearts and Minds of Notre Dame students in the tradition of a Holy Cross school. The Director will oversee the Advancement Office staff and will be a part of the school's Senior Administrative team. DUTIES Establish and execute a diverse and multi-faceted annual comprehensive Advancement plan in coordination with the President, Advancement Committee of the Board of Directors, and Advancement Team to support the school’s strategic vision. Identify, cultivate and personally solicit key donors annually as part of an Annual Fund and/or Capital Giving Campaign. Develop strategies to promote, solicit and encourage parents to participate in the Parent Advancement Fund program which pays the gap between tuition and actual cost of education. Identify, cultivate and secure new Legacy Society donors annually. Where possible, seek written documentation of the estimated value
