Job Summary

The English Learner (EL) Services and Community Partnerships Coordinator is an essential piece of creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive school community at Pacific Collegiate School (PCS). This critical team member will serve as a community bridge between PCS and multilingual families (with a special emphasis on Spanish speaking communities) throughout Santa Cruz County. In addition to serving as a resource to current multilingual students and their families, they will perform outreach to diverse/underrepresented communities and build community partnerships with organizations throughout the county that will support the school's Strategic Plan. In addition to their responsibilities as a Community Partnerships Coordinator, this team member will also work with the ELD Teacher and Instructional Assistant to coordinate services for English Learners (ELs) and Reclassified Fluent English Proficient (RFEP) students. Service coordination may include ELPAC testing coordination and administration, progress monitoring, supporting students’ self-advocacy skills.
