Job Summary
Substitute Teacher for Fortune School of Education are responsible for facilitating the continuity of learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. Your primary duty will be to manage the classroom environment effectively and deliver pre-prepared lesson plans or assignments provided by the absent teacher. Additionally, you will ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for students, manage classroom behavior, and address any questions or concerns from students to the best of your ability.

Upon receiving an offer of employment, the following documents must be submitted: DOJ and FBI fingerprint clearance - (cost covered by employee) TB screening results (must be within the last 2 years) Employment eligibility verification (I-9)
Emergency 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit (Day-to-Day Substitute Teaching) Emergency Substitute Teaching Permit for Prospective Teachers (For individuals who have not earned a Bachelor's or higher degree) Emergency Career Substitute Permit (For individuals with 3+ years of substitute teaching) Emergency Designated Subjects Career Technical Education Permit for 30-Day Substitute Teaching Service (For substitute teaching in Career Technical Education [CTE] classes)
