Job Summary
JOB SUMMARY Screens students to determine the need for speech and language therapy services; provides speech and language therapy consistent with student’s IEP; assists in the coordination of services for identified students; works collaboratively with regular education staff and special education staff; assists in other school programs as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 1. Credential: Appropriate California credential(s). 2. Education: Master’s Degree preferred. 3. Minimum Experience: Successful experience/training in the assessment, diagnosis, and intervention with individuals with communicative disabilities; successful experience in effectively communicating (orally and in writing) assessment results and intervention strategies; successful experience in working cooperatively with students, staff, and parents. SALARY: • Placement on Speech Language Pathologist Salary Schedule based upon years of experience. • $89,152 - $108,624 (23-24 Salary Schedule) • $2,000 annual stipend for a Master's Degree at 50% • 183 days
