OLP seeks an enthusiastic, creative, and collaborative individual to serve in an academic year internship position as Library Assistant for the duration of this 2023-2024 academic year, starting February 2024. The Library Assistant Intern is considered an integral part of the library team, working directly with the Head Librarian. Candidates for this position should have a sincere passion for working with students with a growth mindset and commitment to continual learning. In addition to supporting students and faculty with their teaching/learning needs, we are looking for an individual that will foster a love of reading across campus. Experience working in a library is a plus but not required. The position of Library Assistant Intern is a part-time up to 20 hours/week classified, non-exempt position with an hourly rate of pay between $18.00 - $22.00 depending on experience and degrees. This is a school year based internship position operating within the August to May timeframe. Library Assistant Intern reports to the Head Librarian and Assistant Principal of Curriculum & Instruction.
