SCFA is currently hiring an Education Specialist (Mild to Moderate Disabilities) for an immediate opening with our elementary school campus. Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Special Education, the Education Specialist will be responsible for all duties as outlined in the attached Job Description. As an employee of Southern California Flex Academy (SCFA), this employee will follow the responsibilities and procedures as outlined in the SCFA Employee Handbook.

Experience & Education: • Valid CA Education Specialist Mild/Moderate Teaching Credential (Clear Credential preferred) • English Language Learner Certification (add-on or embedded into credential program) • Autism Authorization (add-on or embedded into credential program) Other Requirements: • Valid CA Driver’s License • TB Test Clearance • Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance • Ability to travel within CA (expenses paid) up to 4x/yearly
