THE POSITION
The Educational Services Division is now accepting applications for Teacher Assistant I. Under the general supervision of the Supervisor-Head Start Preschool Sites, and/or the Supervisor- Preschool Instructional Support, the Teacher Assistant I supports the implementation of a comprehensive education program and assists in ensuring that the education program is developmentally appropriate for each child’s individual needs and meets the program standards. Typically positions have assignments with the following work year and are located in San Jose. 11 months, 192 days, 6 hours per day OR 12 months, 256 days, 6 hours per day Candidates fluent in Spanish or Vietnamese are encouraged to apply.
