Step 2: Video Interview with Bright Star Schools’ Talent Team Step 3: School Site Interview with School Site Leadership *Selected applicants will be invited to an in-person interview at a specific site, and give a model lesson to students.
Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree CA Education Specialist Credential (Mild/Moderate) Candidates with an intern credential are also considered Two years of urban teaching experience preferred Bilingual Spanish or Korean desirable, but not required Possession of either an English Learner Authorization (EL Authorization), Bilingual, Cross-Cultural, Language and Academic Development (BCLAD) certificate; Cross-Cultural, Language and Academic Development (CLAD) certificate; or Bilingual Certificate of Competence (BCC) required.

Salary: BSS salary is based on experience and education, and was created in consideration of the longer school day and school year. Please click here for our salary scale [The scale will be updated for 24-25 in early 2024].
Status: Full Time
Start Date: An exceptional candidate will assume a full time role no later than March 2024.
