Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direction of the assigned supervisor, provides advanced technical assistance to the District and school sites and specializes in District approved applications and technology. Acts as the primary point of contact for data requests. Provides input, recommendations, and guidance for new software application and technology adoptions. Develops and implements technology based projects. Works in conjunction with management to create, coordinate, and conduct technical training courses for new and existing technology based systems. Performs other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING: Equivalent to graduation from high school. Experience and/or education equivalent to a Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certification in a current Microsoft operating system and CompTIA A+ certification. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Three years of experience working with and supporting technology. Experience teaching/training technology to users. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING: Advanced knowledge of technology systems and/or software applications, including methods and procedures relative to analysis, design, engineering, installation, configuration, deployment, operations and management as it applies to departmental or enterprise-wide systems. Experience and/or education equivalent to a Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Expert certification in a current Microsoft Office suite. DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE: Experience in supporting technology within a school district environment.
