Position Overview California Connections Academy, a network of WASC accredited, tuition-free public online schools for grades K–12, is seeking a highly qualified and California Certified School Counselor to fill the role of a High School Counselor. This position involves adapting to various grade levels and responsibilities while providing support in a virtual environment. Position Responsibilities Will require covering employee leave of absences in a variety of capacities and on-demand. Provide behavioral and academic support for students as requested by employees going on leave. Manage instructional programs virtually, engaging in synchronous and asynchronous counseling sessions. Maintain timely communication with parents, students and academic staff. Collaborate with departments to review data and develop strategies for student support. Participate in the organization and administration of state testing, as directed. Other tasks/projects will be assigned while not actively covering for a counselor on leave.
