Transportation of Pixley Union School Students to Special Programs within Tulare County. This is a split shift postion for the reminader of the 2023-2024 School Year. Position hours are split shift 7am-9am and 1:30pm-3:30pm

Requirements: Must be 21 years of age or older High School Diploma or GED Valid Class C Driver's License District Provided Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance Drug Testing upon hire Current H6 from California Department of Motor Vehicles provided at interview (DMV Printout) Copy of current TB (within 4 years) Enrollment in California Department of Motor Vehicles Pull Notice Program upon hire Valid proof of vehicle insurance

      QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed below. Drive a district-issued vehicle (non-bus) safely and efficiently. Perform pre-trip safety inspections; report mechanical malfunctions as required. Learn and apply policies and procedures related to student discipline. Maintain a safe discipline level among passengers. Observe legal and defensive driving practices. Learn and follow designated routes. Maintain district-issued vehicle (non-bus) in clean and proper working condition. Administer first aid. Maintain routine records. Understand and follow oral and written directions. Communicate effectively with others. Meet schedules and timelines. Operate a two-way radio, of effective means of communication Observe health and safety regulations. Perform moderately to heavy manual activities. Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff, the public and maintain a positive team attitude. Valid first aid and CPR certificate issued by an authorized agency.
