Job Summary
Job Summary
The Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) is seeking analytical and resourceful individuals with strong project management experience to apply for the Research and Evaluation Coordinator position. Under administrative direction, provides technical coordination, operational and strategic plan implementation support to LACOE divisions in the areas of research design, data collection and evaluation activities; and provides program research and evaluation support and guidance to designated school districts in Los Angeles County.
Requirements / Qualifications
Required Education and Experience Education: A bachelor's degree in social or behavioral sciences, business administration, public administration, or a field closely related to the job requirements of this classification from an institution of higher learning recognized by the Council of Higher Education Accreditation. Foreign degrees and credit units require translation and equivalency established by an agency recognized by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Experience: Five years of experience in educational, social, or behavior research and analysis, including three years of experience in managing/directing education, evaluation, or research projects. Additional Requirements: A master’s degree in social or behavioral sciences, business administration, public administration, or in a related field is preferred. A valid California driver's license, proof of insurability, and the availability of private transportation or the ability to provide transportation between job sites is required. Hybrid remote schedules may be available. To ensure the health and safety of its staff, LACOE may require employees to provide evidence of full vaccination against COVID-19.
