Requirements / Qualifications
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: Directly responsible to the principal of the school assigned. Responsible to the Special Education Director for program components. The teacher shall provide a standard based program for students identified as requiring a special class setting for the majority of the day as specified in the Individualized Education Program (IEP). Coordinates all aspects of an individuals designed program to assure students receive all necessary services MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Credential: Education Specialist Credential Mild/Moderate. 24 units in early childhood education or childhood development or Child Development Teacher Permit. Must meet ESEA Highly Qualified teacher requirements. EL Authorization - CLAD or BCLAD Certificate (If not added to Credential) REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: . EDJOIN CERTIFICATED APPLICATION . CURRENT RESUME . COPY OF CREDENTIAL . EL AUTHORIZATION . COPY OF TRANSCRIPTS (Official Set Upon Hiring) .
