Any combination of training, education, and, experience which demonstrates possession of the knowledge and abilities stated on this job description and the ability to perform the duties of this position. A typical qualifying entrance background is demonstrated experience in the following: desktop operating systems; Microsoft Office 365 web and desktop applications; Student Information Systems (SIS); website content management systems; Level 1 technology troubleshooting and problem solving procedures; customer service strategies; educational administrative systems; general purchasing procedures; budget tracking and reporting; designing reports and presentations. Qualifications: Knowledge of: • Computer systems and software; • Student Information Systems procedures and methods; • Business application software applications (e.g., word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation); • Instructional software packages; • Work flow and task management systems; • Technical aspects of field of specialty; • District organization, operations, policies and objectives; • Possession of a current California State Driver’s License and proof of insurance. Major Duties & Responsibilities • Provide Level 1 Technology Help Desk Support via phone and email • Provide Microsoft Office 365 and desktop application support • Provide clerical support to department management • Train users on standard District software applications • Interact with third party vendors and support providers • Support Level 1 use and navigation District student information system • Update District website content as directed • Performs related work as assigned by supervisor
