* * * POSITION OPEN UNTIL FILLED * * * * * CATEGORICAL POSITION UNDER ELOP FUNDING * * TENTATIVE SCHEDULE FROM: 11 AM - 7 PM * BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: The Expanded Learning Opportunities Program Coordinator, under the general direction of the Assistant Director of Innovation, Data and Extended Learning, will provide leadership and management in administering, monitoring, coordinating, and evaluating the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) and related services, in accordance with Federal and State laws and guidelines and Board Policies. This role oversees programs that may occur during the school year, summer, Thanksgiving break, Winter break, and/or Spring break, before the school hours, or after school hours and Saturdays. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: ? California Administrative Services Credential ? Five years successful teaching experience in grades K – 12 ? CLAD or equivalent authorization ? Knowledge of State and Federal funding sources and Federal Program Monitoring. ? Strong Instructional leadership skills ? Outstanding organizational skills ? Training in the broad aspects of school administration with emphasis on elementary/secondary school administration required. Physical Effort/Work Environment: ? Light to moderate physical effort; frequent standing or walking; rapid paced work; moderate to high levels of stress

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: . Master's degree in Education, Educational Administration, or related field . Bilingual in English/Spanish . Experience writing grants and securing external funding . Knowledge of before and after school programming . Knowledge of early childhood education best practices . Experience developing community partnerships .
