Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direction of the principal/site administrator, this position serves as a liaison for the school district, community based agencies, and student population to address crime and crime related activities occurring in or around school campuses. The position assists school administration in the development of education and training as related to crime prevention, conflict resolution, drug prevention and other related issues; makes recommendations for procedural changes to affect positive change in the school environment; and foster communications, create alliances, and build relationships with agencies in order to ensure the safety of students and school district personnel

Requirements / Qualifications

- Graduation from high school or equivalent. - Additional college coursework in criminal justice or directly related field of study from an institution of higher learning recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation is desirable. - Two years of experience serving as a security guard in a school or governmental agency environment

  • CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Other (Security Guard Card)
  • Resume
