Job Summary

This posting is for our Lancaster, CA location. We are a non-public school, specializing in students with the most needs. We service students in kindergarten to Transition Age 12th grade +, faced with a wide variety of developmental challenges. We are seeking a Special Education teacher who wants to bring the most current best practices to our students. Classroom sizes are very small, with a maximum of 8 students and ample one to one support. The right person would have a good understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis, be an outside the box thinker, be able to take State standards and scaffold them to their student's needs, understand the importance of collecting sound data, be extremely organized, and understand how to write and present a compliant IEP. We are looking for someone with an excellent sense of humor, a positive attitude, and a caring heart. The ability to truly work collaboratively as part of a team is a must in our small setting. With our small class sizes and our student to adult ratio is at least 1:1, we are in a great position to really help our students succeed. We offer a great benefit package and are super fun to work with.
