Job Summary

Santa Fe Christian Schools is seeking a qualified and experienced Middle School History Teacher for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement a curriculum and lesson plans that will foster knowledge and skills essential to effectively teach students in the Middle School • Create hands-on, inquiry, and project-based lessons that build excitement for History • Demonstrate concepts using models, technology, and other standards or teacher- prepared instructional aids • Evaluate each student’s progress in their knowledge of the subject matter • Communicate with parents to discuss the individual student’s progress Spiritual Requirements: • Model a growing and vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ • Demonstrate biblical maturity and serve as a Christian role model • Maintains active participation in an evangelical church

Requirements / Qualifications

Professional Requirements: • Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in History (or related field) • Minimum of two years of teaching experience at the Middle School level • Interest in contributing to the school community outside of the classroom as an athletic coach, student advisor, student club leader, or otherwise preferred • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. For further details, see the Teacher Job Description.
