THE POSITION: The Coordinator II, Center for Distance and Online Learning position shall organize, develop, and implement grant-focused professional development and resources that include evidence-based, non-punitive programs and practices aimed at keeping the state’s most vulnerable pupils in school. As part of this Learning Communities for School Success Program (LCSSP) Grant Coordinator II position, the evidence-based programs and practices must complement or enhance the actions and services identified to meet the LEA’s goals as provided in their LCAP. This position has a special emphasis on implementing high quality arts integration professional development for educators and the development of a strategic operational plan for each grant school, so all educators and students who are part of this grant, will have equitable access to these effective evidence-based arts integration strategies and resources. Furthermore, the Coordinator II shall provide technical assistance and evidence-based, culturally, and linguistically appropriate resources; and perform related duties as assigned within the Center for Distance and Online Learning Unit.
Requirements / Qualifications
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Experience: A minimum of three years of comprehensive experience as a school level administrator; additional experience at a district office is preferred. Education: A Master’s degree in education from an institution of higher learning accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
