Job Summary

Job Summary

The Charter Community School Supervisor is responsible for the implementation of the community school plan. The Charter Community School Supervisor will conduct an extensive and ongoing needs and assets analysis and will work with the school’s inclusive leadership team and a broad range of school staff, families, administrators, and community partners to develop and implement a plan based on the results of that assessment. The Charter Community School Supervisor will initiate, facilitate, and maintain programs at the school level in alignment with the strategic plan. The Charter Community School Supervisor will advise the school administration on the most effective use of community resources for the greatest impact on student learning and well-being through enhancing community and individual assets, meeting critical needs, and promoting long-term collective solutions. The work of the Charter Community School Supervisor furthers the Local Control Accountability Plan to improve academic outcomes by removing barriers to learning for all students.

Requirements / Qualifications

Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in education from an accredited college or university , social work, health, community services, or related field. Master’s degree preferred. Experience Required: Experience coordinating comprehensive program activities in a school/academic setting. Licenses, Certifications, Bonding, and/or Testing Required: Valid Driver’s License and evidence of insurability, Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance, pre-placement physical (Group III)
