PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our faculty. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in fostering an engaging and inclusive learning environment that reflects the core values of our institution. As a teacher at Providence, you will have the opportunity to inspire and guide students on their academic journey while instilling a strong sense of social responsibility and moral character. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that align with the school's curriculum and values. • Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes active student participation and critical thinking. • Incorporate the values of Dignity, Justice, Integrity, Compassion, and Excellence into daily teaching practices and interactions with students. • Foster a supportive and respectful learning environment that encourages intellectual curiosity and personal growth. • Implement a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs. • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic progress. • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and contribute to a positive school culture. • Teach up to 5 sections of no more than 3 different courses. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor's degree in education or a relevant field, teaching credential (Master's degree preferred). • Experience teaching in a high school setting, preferably in a college preparatory environment. • Commitment to the values of Dignity, Justice, Integrity, Compassion, and Excellence. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Dedication to fostering a nurturing and respectful learning environment
