The Baldwin Park Unified School District is seeking for an Early Childhood Education Health Services Manager. Under general supervision of the Director/Assistant Director, the Health Services Manager shall oversee the health and nutrition components of the program as outlined in local, state, and federal policies and regulations. The Health Services Manager assists in identifying and linking a medical/dental home for program participants. The Health Services Manager’s role is to improve the overall health of students and their families through assessment, education, and referrals to appropriate services. REQUIREMENTS Education and Experience: -Valid California Registered Nurse License or Masters in Public Health. -School Audiometric Certificate (may obtain while working under supervision). -Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent education/experience (5 years’ experience). -Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in community health, occupational health, school nursing, pediatrics, or related area, including one year in health related administration or supervision. -Possession of a valid driver’s license and provide a motor vehicle with insurance. -CPR and First Aid certificates.
