Under the general supervision of an assigned supervisor, provides basic library support for an elementary school library.

Education and Experience A high school diploma or equivalent AND one year of experience performing clerical or library support services in a library or similar environment OR An associate degree with coursework in library science or related field

Comments and Other Information
To establish a list of eligible candidates that will be used to fill current and future part-time, permanent, or temporary vacancies, as long as the list is relevant which is up to one year. There are currently two vacancies:
- 10-month, part-time positions (12.5 hours per week)
- Located at Arroyo Elementary School and Hollow Hills Elementary School in Simi Valley, CA.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: Completed applications must be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. on July 2, 2025. Late applications and/or certificates will not be accepted.
TESTING PROCESS:
A) Multiple Choice Test = 40% weighting on final score
Tentatively scheduled for the week of July 7, 2025
B) Structured Interview = 60% weighting on final score
Tentatively scheduled for the week of July 14, 2025
